General Terms and Conditions

Article 1 — Definitions
Sentomus / Service Provider: Sento Group BV, operating the Sentomus visitor research platform. Museum / Client: The institution that registers and participates in the Sentomus study. Agreement: These general terms and conditions together with the registration confirmation. Platform: The online research platform accessible via the regional Sentomus subdomains.
Article 2 — Language prevalence
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between language versions of these terms, the English version shall prevail.
Article 3 — Services
Sentomus provides a visitor experience research platform including survey tools, a live dashboard, and (depending on membership plan) individual reports and benchmarking. The specific features per plan are described on sentomus.eu/details.
Article 4 — Membership and duration
Memberships are annual and non-automatically renewable. After each research period, the museum will be contacted to offer an extension without obligation. There is no automatic renewal.
Article 5 — One account per museum
Each participating institution is entitled to one account. Account sharing between separate institutions is not permitted.
Article 6 — Cancellation
Cancellation requires 3 months’ written notice before the end of the subscription period, sent to contact@sentogroup.eu.
Article 7 — Data after termination
After termination of the membership, the museum’s data remains accessible for 30 days. After this period, the data will be permanently deleted.
Article 8 — Service changes
Sentomus reserves the right to modify or discontinue features of the platform. Museums will be notified of significant changes at least 30 days in advance.
Article 9 — Availability
The platform is provided “as is”. Sentomus makes reasonable efforts to ensure availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Article 10 — Professional use
The Sentomus platform is intended for professional use by museum organisations. The service is not designed for private individuals.
Article 11 — Liability
Sentomus’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the current subscription year. For museums on the free plan, Sentomus’s liability is €0.
Article 12 — Usage licence
Sentomus grants museums a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform and any communication materials provided (e.g. badges, social toolkit) for the purpose of promoting their participation in the study.
Article 13 — Transfer and discontinuation
In case of discontinuation of the Sentomus service, museums will be notified with 3 months’ notice, and all data will be made available for export.
Article 14 — Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Ghent, Belgium.
